Radius is hiring! We are looking for an Employment Programs Facilitator to join our Work Readiness Team…

This position is working with the Radius Work Readiness Program helping job seekers in their connection to work. The right candidate will have:

– Post-secondary degree in human services (Social Work, Psychology, or Education)
– Strong digital mastery with Microsoft 0365 (especially WORD,EXCEL,POWERPOINT)
– Indigenous Education and Cultural Awareness an asset
– Experience with Newcomer Canadians and their connection to work in Saskatchewan
– Experience with facilitating career development activities one on one and within a group setting
– Strong mentorship skills
– Understanding of Motivational Interviewing techniques an asset

– Assist job seekers to enhance their employability skills  for success in finding suitable employment
– Market the value of workers to employers
– Facilitate employability workshops and discussions from prepared and customized program materials; deliver personal assessment tools
– Experience meeting and providing instruction in person and online (Zoom/TEAMS) when needed.
– Help jobseekers connect with community resources; liaise with support agencies
– Work cooperatively in the Employment Program Team
– Evaluate progress using program assessment tools and measures to meet contract metrics and outcomes
– Collect program data and write evaluation reports to meet contract outcomes

This is a renewable annual contract position 37.5 hours/week has a duration of August 19, 2024 – June 30, 2025 .  The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8:00AM to 5:00PM.  

The successful candidate will provide an acceptable driver’s abstract, criminal record check and vulnerable sector search.
