The Kanātan nipīy (kaa-NAH-tan / nii-PEA) Water Training Program for Indigenous Persons

( A partnership in employment training project with City of Saskatoon, Saskatoon Tribal Council, Gabriel Dumont Institute, Saskatchewan Polytech and Radius Community Centre)

Start date: January 19, 2026 End date: March 27, 2025

Admission requirements
• Grade 12 or GED/CAEC transcript- Grade 12 Math/ Biology/ Chemistry
• Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s License
• Driver Abstract (within the last 3 months)
• Resumé (includes 3 references)

• Funding may be available for persons qualifying through referral from
Saskatoon Tribal Council and Gabriel Dumont Institute Training &
Employment
